Hawaiian update

The original plan was to come to north shore during the Triple Crown competition and shoot some of it. Then my sister wanted to go to Hawaii too, since a different vacation of hers fell through. She also wanted to bring Mackenzie and my mom. Of course, I said yes.

I’ve learned a lot in these past few days. How bold my ideas are, and how my ambition cannot keep up. And how utterly unprepared I am for the thoughts in my head. If things went another way, I could let my thoughts run loose and I would have been able to accomplish everything I set out to, attached to a price tag. Though, on the side of the cup being half full, I wouldn’t have spent this much time staring into my niece’s eyes and see her smile every time I look at her.

Tonight is my first night by myself, which isn’t for very long. I will be rejoining my family until they leave Thursday. Maybe by then I will come to a different conclusion than the previous ones I have run through in my mind.

p.s. The dell laptop I brought is too slow to process my video clips, much less edit them. And the mac laptop does not give enough power to the usb port to allow my harddrive to run. sonofa

Last Few Hours

2 hours later… Finished packing. Started with couldn’t find bags and ended in remember pillow for plane, and apologize to Ross, my ride, for calling him twice by accident.
